Sphaera Somnium

Sphaera Somnium is an immersive audiovisual experience aiming to surpass conventional standards of extended reality encounters. It offers participants a journey through speculative environments, utilizing projection and ambisonic sound technologies. The project merges abstract, spatial audio soundscapes with progressive, projection mapped visual elements to create a multisensory experience within the encompassing space of the ambisonic dome (or D.A.M.E. - Dome at the school of Arts, Media and Engineering). Utilizing the three-dimensional audio system within the D.A.M.E., participants will be immersed in soundscapes designed to heighten their sense of immersion within unfamiliar environments.
